HASA MEETING WITH PROFESSOR JIM KIM, PARTNERS IN HEALTH
Friday, June 6 at 4 pm, Science Center Lobby (RSVP to Jenny Freeman '83)
Professor Jim Kim, who teamed up with Paul Farmer to found Partners in Health (http://www.pih.org/inforesources/news/JimKim-2006jan.html), has kindly agreed to meet with all interested HASA members, including anyone from previous classes who is interested, on Friday afternoon. All are welcome to attend!
Professor Kim, who will have returned from a trip to Africa only hours earlier,
will discuss ideas about developing HASA from the perspective of a Harvard professor who has conducted extensive programs for a Harvard institution in developing countries including in Africa (Rwanda, Lesotho, and Malawi).  In addition to his work at PIH, Kim is the former head of HIV/AIDS programs for the World Health Organization.
Please meet us in the Science Center Lobby at 4pm, then we will locate an available room.
